I started off this week by learning about visual storytelling. In this blog post I go into detailed on what I learned and putting my new skills to the test with Christmas lights.
I then moved into a fun photo safari hunt. In this blog post I included all the pictures I took on my photo safari.
This is my blog post on my photo reflection of my favorite picture from the safari.
I then wrote a blog post on my reflection of my experience of the whole photo safari. What did I like about this? What was hard?
Daily Creates are something really awesome they get me to me more creative and think outside the box! Here are my 3 daily creates I did this week.
Next I did 4 visual assignments. This was my favorite activity this week I had a lot of fun creating and writing these.
And finally I wrapped up the week on reflecting on how I felt about Visual Storytelling.
How well do you feel you completed the requirements of the week’s assignments?
I believe I completed these requirements really well. For this end of week post 1 I really tried to read everything over and over to make sure I was doing everything. I tried to learn more about word press and how everything works. I spent a lot of time understand and planning each post.
What gave you trouble? What did you enjoy most? What did you learn?
Something that gave me trouble was the gallery we needed for the photo safari. I looked up YouTube videos and the one I found was using a different version or outdated version of word press so I did not help. I finally figured out how to do it and once I leaned it was simple from there. It is just the little things with technology that seem end up taking way longer than I want them to. Something I enjoyed was creating my super hero picture. I laughed so hard while creating that I thought it was really funny. The fact that people do not really walk cats and why would Spider-man being walking on on top of a train. I just loved that activity. Something that I learned is how to create galleries on word press and how to tag on word press. I made sure all my assignments were receiving the correct tag. I learned this through YouTube.
What would you do differently? What questions do you have?
Something I would do differently is learning how to make cool fonts and customize my blog more. This ties into my question is there a way to change this font of our blog post? I am going to try to do more research this weekend.
What are some of the larger issues surrounding your work? Cultural/Societal implications?
I mention in my photo safari reflection that we can not go anywhere to take pictures besides our houses. This can be an issue in my future work when trying to create amazing content for my blog.
