I started out the week by learning a little bit more on audio and radio. I loved watching these videos and expanding my knowledge before starting with the assignments.

I then continued to learn more by watching/listening to Ted Radio hour and ScottLo. I learned how to edit audio more and some tips and tricks.

I then listened to a great audio from the Moon. I really felt like I was there landing on the moon.

NOW for the assignments. I first created a circus type audio using sound effects. Check it out.

I then created this 80’s commercial. This was probably was my favorite. I loved watching old commercials for ideas.

This was another one of my favorite because I love music and I had a lot of fun creating this.

I put my own twist on this one. The sounds it self are not bad but together they are awful at the story they tell.

I seriously learned so much this week I am so glad I took this class.

My thoughts on my classmates blogs.

How well do you feel you completed the requirements of the week’s assignments?

I think I completed the requirements well. I had a lot of fun with this week because I love audio and music. I think these assignments were the best so far. I really tried to put my best work on SoundCloud. I commented on 5 of my classmates and provided good comments and gave ideas on their blogs.

What gave you trouble? What did you enjoy most? What did you learn?

Something that gave me trouble was the sick beat one. That one just took the longest putting all the clips together. But it turned out to be my favorite. The 80’s commercial was something I enjoyed the most. I love the 80’s and all thing vintage so I really enjoyed making this one.

What would you do differently? What questions do you have?

Something I would have done differently is make the background music a little bit quieter on my 80’s commercial. Jackie commented that she could not really hear my voice at some spots. So I would turn down the volume of the background music.

What are some of the broader issues surrounding your work? Cultural/Societal implications?

Some broader issues surrounding my work include the background music I used for the 80’s commercial. I got it off of YouTube. Since I am using it for Educational purposes it might be fine and not copy right, but I wanted to make it know that is where I got it.
